Following the announcement of her latest offering, "I Tweet What I Like... So Sue Me," Jackie Phamotse has been sharing pearls of social media wisdom on her Twitter page as she promotes her upcoming book.
One of her tweets provides some insight into why she penned the book after being embroiled in a court battle with media personalities Basetsana and Romeo Kumalo following her debut book, "Bare".
The Kumalo's took Phamotse to court after the author shared a series of tweets claiming there was “a sex tape involving the husband of a well-known media mogul with a younger rapper".
The court ordered her not to make comments about Basetsana on social media in future.
On Tuesday, Phamotse tweeted: "It Tweet What I Like" is my answer to all the trolls who think they own our voices! All the people who want to steal our stories and crush our characters! My Voice! My story My Power so let me tell it how I want!

She also encouraged fans to "bold" and not to let "anyone steal your voice".
"Don’t let anyone steal your voice! Your life experience belongs to you! No one can claim that, a tiger can never ask a lion to swap skins! Nor will I suppress my voice to make anyone feel comfortable. #BeBold #BeBrave #ItweetwhatILike oppressors come in all kinds of sheepskin (sic)" she tweeted.

During a recent interview with The Star, Phamotse revealed that she wrote the book in three months after losing in court.
“I started writing the book earlier this year. When I was attending the court case, I looked into what our legal system is saying about social media. In the book, I share my experience on how I overcame public humiliation and growing as an activist.
“I also talk about the case, addressing the allegations. A lot of people had different views about the case. We wanted to issue a statement but I decided not to,” she said
"I Tweet What I Like" is currently available for pre-order and set to hit shelves early next year.
