Sade Giliberti, the popular former YoTV presenter, has tied the knot.

She recently shared the exciting news of her wedding to her partner, Coco, with her followers on social media, expressing just how special the day was for them both.

Giliberti, who first stole Mzansi's hearts as a child star on YoTV in the early 2000s, has come a long way from her days of entertaining South African youth.

Over the years, she’s built a solid reputation as a presenter, TV personality and LGBTQ+ activist. Her boldness in sharing her life and journey, especially with her queer identity, has made her a significant figure in South Africa and beyond.

In a 2018 interview with “MambaOnline”, a South African LGBTQ+ publication, Giliberti opened up about coming out and living authentically.

“For me, I’ve always been proud of who I am. I didn’t feel the need to hide it, and I’ve been lucky to have family and friends who supported me. I know that’s not the case for everyone, which is why it’s important for people like us to be visible and give others the courage to live their truth.”

The TV star, who has since relocated to Europe, married her long-time partner in a beautiful ceremony held in Portugal.

The couple shared an intimate celebration with close family and friends at a villa, which Giliberti described as nothing short of magical.

Taking to Instagram, she gushed: “Still can’t believe how magical our little day turned out! We poured all our love into the personal touches and cherished moments with everyone. We wore matching blazers, because why not!”

Giliberti and Coco announced their engagement back in 2023 and fans have been eagerly awaiting the wedding news ever since. Their ceremony, filled with love and personal touches, was just the perfect celebration of their union.

Giliberti spoke about how the day was filled with love, joy, and laughter, adding that it was an unforgettable experience: “The villa was flowing with love, joy, and togetherness. Honestly, a 12/10! Can we do it all over again?”

Former YoTV co-host Hulisani Ravele, who worked with Giliberti during her YoTV days, joined many others in congratulating the couple on social media.
