The Jonas Brothers concert in Prague took an unexpected turn on Tuesday night, 15 October, when Nick Jonas was forced to run off-stage after being targeted by a laser pointer.
The incident unfolded in the middle of the performance, causing the show, which is part of their “The World Tour”, to suddenly halt.
Footage of the moment quickly spread across social media, showing Nick Jonas making a "time out" gesture with his hands before dashing off stage. Fans in the crowd were left confused as the band temporarily stopped performing.
According to a spokesperson from the O2 Arena in Prague, where the concert was held, the interruption was due to a prohibited laser pointer being aimed at the artist.
In a statement, the O2 Arena confirmed: “We can confirm that the Jonas Brothers’ performance had to be interrupted for several minutes due to the use of a prohibited laser pointer by the person.
“The organising service responded to this fact. After a few minutes, the band continued their performance.”
