A new tribute podcast, “Ali in Me”, is set to take listeners on a journey that encapsulates the heart, soul and enduring legacy of legendary boxer, Muhammad Ali.

Premièring on January 23 on Audible, the eight-part series will explore the profound and lasting influence of the cultural icon’s life and principles.

According to a statement, “Ali in Me” will grip listeners with never-before-heard audio, along with rare archives and heartfelt recollections from those who knew him best.

“The series pays tribute to a man whose life continues to resonate deeply, offering lessons in courage, conviction and the power of using one's platform for the betterment of humanity,” read the statement.

Ali's widow, Lonnie Ali is not only the brainchild behind the podcast but also the executive producer alongside John Ramsey and Josh Wakely from “Grace: A Storytelling Company”.

The podcast will feature an impressive line-up of special guests including sports icons Mike Tyson and Ali’s daughter, Laila Ali, award-winning actress Rosie Perez, musician Killer Mike, actor Billy Crystal, rapper Common and sports broadcaster Bob Costas.

Lonnie said: “Our vision for this podcast is to fill the void left when we lost Muhammad. More than ever, the power of Muhammad’s example, along with the simple truth of his words, can help uplift and inspire humanity.”

Ramsey added: “Muhammad was the best example of the human spirit I’ve ever witnessed.

“He lured me in with his athleticism, but by watching him spread love so unselfishly, I learned a new definition of being a man. He was a champion not just of boxing, but of humanity.”

Barak Moffitt, executive producer and head of Mercury Studios, North America, shared: “Our intent with the series was to provide Lonnie and John with an elevated creative vehicle for exploring Muhammad Ali’s unparalleled humanity and sharing their deeply personal recollections and insights.

“We are profoundly grateful to all the contributors who shared so openly and to Audible for supporting this vision.”
