The Stylistics are back with their first album in almost 20 years, featuring collaborations with stars like Shania Twain and Gene Simmons, set to release in February.

The American soul group, which was formed in 1968, comprises Airrion Love, Herb Murrell, Jason Sharp and Barrington “Bo” Henderson.

Over the decades, they garnered international success with songs such as “Stop, Look, Listen (To Your Heart),” “You Are Everything,” and “You Make Me Feel Brand New”, amongst several others.

Between January 1972 and August 1974, The Stylistics were awarded five gold singles and three gold albums.

In 1994, the group were inducted into the Philadelphia Music Alliance Walk of Fame and in 2004, they were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.

They are now set to release “Falling in Love With My Girl”, their first album since 2008’s “That Same Way.”

The 21-track offering, which will be released on February 21, will also feature star-studded collaborations with the likes of Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones, Gene Simmons from Kiss, The Elton John Band (including Nigel Olsson and Davey Johnstone), Steve Lukather of Toto and Ray Parker, Jr., among several others.

Twain features on the track “Yes, I Will,” which is set to be released on Valentine’s Day.

Love, 75, was quoted by “MSN” as saying: “I fell in love with Shania Twain the first time I heard ‘You’re Still the One’ - a great song that I still love.”

“When we heard there might be a chance to do something with her we said, “Hell yeah!”

Twain, 59, added: “I’m so happy that this song I wrote ‘Yes, I Will’ has found a home on The Stylistics album. That is just so exciting. It’s a special song that came together on one special day at my home where I was hanging out with some friends and musicians. So I think it turned out great and I’m just really excited to share it with the whole world.”

Meanwhile, after completing a tour of the UK this year, The Stylistics will tour the US in 2025.
