The Podcast and Chill Network has just shaken things up again with a brand new show called Piano Pulse, which discusses all things Amapiano. The show has made an instant impact as it already has viewers up in arms.
This time, the mic is being passed to popular TikTok content creators, Thakgi Ledwaba, Munaka Muthambi and artist manager, Sfiso Ndlovu, promising a mix of entertainment, industry tea, and that signature spice viewers have come to expect from Mac G’s Podcast and Chill Network.
The pilot episode of Piano Pulse went live on Tuesday at 3pm and in true ‘’Chillers’’ fashion, within minutes of going live, it had people talking, mostly about the bold opinions flying left, right, and centre.
A clip from the episode was shared on X and it sparked quite the conversation. TikTok content creator and influencer, fondly known as Thakgi did not hold back as he is known for his viral takes on all things culture.
During the episode, he took a jab at some of the genre's biggest names such as Kabza De Small, adding that he plays too many exclusive sets which is something people do not care for lately, according to him.
“The reason I did not enjoy Kabza’s set is that it was too perfect, he played too many exclusives that I didn’t care about,’’ he said.
He further adds that people prefer sounds from DJs like Cyan Boujee and Uncle Waffles because there’s more beat as well as performance.
His opinion had some X users agreeing and others, not so much, claiming that the hosts do not have enough knowledge to discuss the genre and that the podcast was rushed.

X user Matshego_23 said that the podcast is going to cause chaos.
Their co-host, the artist manager, brought a different take to the conversation, dropping files that only someone deep in the industry could share.
But it was not all shade. There were moments of genuine praise for the new kid on the block, Scotts Maphuma, Yebo Lapho hit maker who has been making waves in the industry. They dubbed him as the hottest vocalist at the moment.
The compliment was quickly followed by spicy critiques from co-host and artist manager who brought a different flavour to the conversation, sharing that up-and-comer, LeeMcKrazy who, in Ndlovu’s words, ‘’revives dead careers’’ adding that he thinks the artist will be taken out of the game soon.
Podcast and Chill is a network which features various podcasts such as Popcorn and Cheese with Robot Boii and Mpho Popps, Spreading Humours with Seema, Yanda Woods and Zille, just to name a few.
MacG shared that the Piano Pulse episode will be a pilot one so ‘’Chillers’’ can decide if the show should stay on.
