The Cupcakes for Cats Kitten Shower, much like a baby shower, aims to prepare for the influx of kittens birthed every year during “kitten season”.

For just R100, attendees are invited to sit back, sip a delicious hot drink and showcase their artistic skills by decorating cupcakes, complete with icing and sprinkles.

Young ones are welcome, too.

This kitten shower goes beyond just baking and sipping as it represents a tangible way to contribute to the wellbeing of these vulnerable animals.

Every ticket that is purchased helps to support the resources and care these kittens.

“Local is Lekker”

The Westville Country Club Bowls Section has become synonymous with artistic innovation and this year they are back with a vibrant production titled “Local is Lekker.”

The show features a thrilling mix of excerpts from Springbok Radio, nostalgic South African adverts and local music spanning generations.

“Date Night”

The Rhumbelow Theatre welcomes the hilarious musical comedy cabaret “Date Night”, featuring Durban's favourite comedic couple, Aaron McIlroy and Lisa Bobbert.

The show is set to bring its unique brand of humour to the city for just three nights, promising audiences an unforgettable experience.

According to a statement, McIlroy and Bobbert, well-known for their seamless chemistry and playful repartee, have crafted the show to dive head-first into the hilarities and challenges of relationships, marriage and the adventures of middle age.

Following a successful performance in December, Carvin H. Goldstone is returning by popular demand to the iZulu Theatre stage at Sibaya Casino for a second run of his hilarious family show, “My New Debit Order”.

The one-man comedy show is a great Valentine’s month outing for couples who have children or for those who are planning to.

The beloved Durban comedian humorously explores the experience of welcoming a new baby in his 40s, the challenges of in vitro fertilisation (IVF) and the arrival of a new baby, which he playfully refers to as his “new debit order”.

He also discusses topics such as childbirth, raising a teenager, the impact of new presidents in South Africa and the United States and the cost of living in 2025.
