South African comedian Kevin Fraser is back with a brand-new comedy tour, #Imagination2025, promising audiences a wild journey in a world where the future meets familiar, everyday struggles.
Known for his unique brand of humour that blends impersonations and sharp social commentary with a dash of local flavour, Fraser’s new show is set to captivate fans across the country.
“Imagination” debuts at Emperor’s Palace in Johannesburg on November 29, with shows at 5pm and 9pm. The tour will also make stops in Pretoria, East London, Gqeberha, Durban, and Cape Town, offering audiences a comedic escape.
Fraser’s comedic career took off in 2015 when he began posting humorous videos about his experiences as a South African expat living abroad.
Through impersonations and relatable scenarios, Fraser portrayed stereotypical South African characters that resonated with audiences. These videos went viral, quickly earning him a large following on social media platforms.
In a short time, Fraser transitioned from internet sensation to live comedy, where his performances combined stand-up, dance, and vivid storytelling. His entertainment-comedy style sets him apart, making him not just a comedian but a true performer.
His earlier tours, “The Minister of Entertainment” and “Africa is a Feeling”, were very successful. Both tours sold out locally and extended to international audiences, with shows in the UK, Middle East, Europe, and Australia.
