Cape Town - Olympic gold medalist, Natasha Hastings, and Olympian Mechelle Lewis Freeman will be leading a 5km run along the popular RunWestin route at The Westin hotel in Cape Town on Friday, and you could be a winner.
The Olympians are in Cape Town to spread the word to young girls that healthy lifestyles and exercise can be a stepping stone for excellence.
Hastings’ Tea Time with Tasha programme aims to inspire teenage girls to maintain a standard of excellence, while Freeman’s TrackGirlz gives access to sport stars that encourage young track and field athletes to develop high-level performance on and off the track.
As part of Friday's event, IOL readers stand a chance to win a R500 voucher to The Westin Cape Town, which can be used at the spa, restaurant or towards to an overnight stay.

Hastings and Freeman have also collaborated to use their track and field experience to empower teens at a camp tour held in Joburg last week and in Cape Town on March 10.
The camps will connect teen girls and boys with Olympians and World Champions to hear their advice and experiences while also learning from industry experts on education, nutrition, recovery, and positive mindset development.
Hastings and Freeman say they were inspired by Nelson Mandela and wanted to visit his home country to support the vision he had to uplift children whose lives started at a socio-economic disadvantage.
