What happens when you put a GoPro on your cat and follow his daily routine?

Well that is what Maxwell’s owner decided to do and now he has become a social media legend with 2 million followers.

We don't know who chose to put a body camera on the cat, but it's clear it was needed just based on the sheer number of street fights Max gets into.

Max doesn't mess around when he's looking for a fight. This cat will fight anyone. No cat is safe when Max is on the streets.

In his most recent clip, Max stalks his target before running up on him and throwing fists.

Maxwell has been called the neighbourhood bully, a gangster, and a supervillain for cats. He has taken over his local streets. Max's reputation as a fighter must be well known, because there are so many videos on his page, he's like a villain from a Rocky movie.

Every cat in the street is fair play for him, and the neighbours are not even safe in their own homes as he is seen breaking and entering the neighbours homes to terrorise their cats.

And his gangster-like antics are not just reserved for the neighbourhood cats - according to one of his fans, Arcane Gale, the one cat, with the orange collar belongs to the same owner as Max - they eat together and Max still attacks him.

Some of his fans posted on his TikTok profile:

@Egan Lambert: Maxwell is always on Demon time😂

@Emmett: omg that cat was crying why's maxwell so mean

@MerleneS -Maxwell is a serial bully😻😀😻

@Salwa.tibini - Max just misunderstood

Although many cat lovers will be able to relate to the hilarious antics of Mad Max, there are also those who don’t approve of his behaviour and would like to see him restricted to his own home.

Other cat lovers are concerned about Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and the dangers of it spreading through cat bites.

@assortedfruitt: You may find the Maxwell the cat videos funny but all i can think of is if the cats hes beating up are okay and the fact that if Maxwell has owners he has a comfortable home to go back to that some of these other cats probably dont. This is either someone putting a go pro on a cat for internet clout or an owner doing this with their cat. Please try and keep your cats inside.

@Maria Natzayeth - My only thing is that hopefully seeing his videos more people realize how dangerous it is for their cats outside and it dissuades the from letting them out.
