Marking the end of the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a video on social media congratulating the British team on their achievements during the games.
“From all of us watching at home, congratulations to Team GB,” the Princess says in the clip as her husband adds, "Well done on all you’ve achieved. You’ve been an inspiration to us all.”
The video also features some other familiar faces, including Snoop Dogg and David Beckham all congratulating the victorious athletes who won their country 14 gold medals, 22 silver and 29 bronze.
The royals both dressed casually with Catherine wearing a classic black and white striped top and William looking very laid back in a blue Adidas polo shirt.
What gave the Prince an even more laid-back look is his new beard. It’s quite a dramatic change from his usual clean-shaven look.
While many royal fans were happy to see the Princess looking so good, it was the Prince’s unshaven look that caused quite a stir on social media with some people loving the look and others not too crazy about it.
“Prince William reappearing with a beard, I can honestly say that it looks pretty good on him, it makes him look more sensual and it suits him perfectly, someone tell him not to take it off anymore,” commented royal watcher @isabellis1234.
