Cape Town - Honeymoon murder suspect Shrien Dewani described himself as “submissive, filthyminded and perverted” on a gay dating website, it was revealed on Thursday.

The millionaire businessman also said he was interested in sex with men as young as 18 and as old as 99 in his online profile for the Gaydar site.

Dewani, 34, who has admitted sleeping with male prostitutes, logged on to the site during his honeymoon with Anni Dewani a day before she was killed.

And he was signed in just over 24 hours after he allegedly paid two hitmen to shoot his 28-year-old bride Anni Hindocha in Cape Town four years ago.

On his Gaydar profile, Dewani states that he wants to sleep with single gay men, bisexual men, bi or gay couples and groups of gay men.

Describing his body as “defined”, he adds that his sexual preference is “passive” and that he always practised safe sex.

The care home boss from Bristol, said he was a “submissive c*********, filthy-minded and perverted” and stated his age preference as 18 to 99 years old.

Under the heading “looking for”, he wrote: “Same as me – filthy and perverted but safe.”

Dewani used the website for six years before marrying, using the name “asiansubguy”.

He used the same username on gay fetish site Recon, according to his admissions statement released by the Western Cape High Court. The term “sub” is understood to refer to “submissive”.

He had previously used Gaydar to connect with escort Leopold Leisser - nicknamed the “German Master”, but deactivated his gay website accounts a week after Hindocha’s murder.

Dewani denies murder, kidnapping, conspiracy to kidnap, robbery with aggravating circumstances and obstructing the administration of justice.

The trial continues on Monday
