Honeymoon murder suspect Shrien Dewani has been discharged from hospital - but his friends insist he will not be fit to attend his extradition hearing at Woolwich Crown Court in London. Dewani, accused of ordering the murder of his wife two weeks after his marriage while in South Africa last November, claims to be suffering from clinical depression and a stress disorder.
When he was admitted to Bristol Royal Infirmary on Sunday some reports suggested a failed suicide attempt, but his family insist he simply had a “reaction to his medication”.
