There has been a horrific accident involving multiple trucks and cars on the N3 Durban Bound before Marianhill Toll Plaza in KwaZulu-Natal.
ALS paramedics medical services spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said at least three people are entrapped and multiple injured.
"ALS paramedics are currently on the scene of horrific multiple truck and vehicle on the N3 Durban Bound before Marianhill Toll Plaza.
"Initial reports are that somehow a truck lost control and ploughed into vehicles that were slowing down for the toll plaza and traffic. At this stage paramedics have confirmed that at least three people are severely entrapped in the wreckage.
"All emergency services are in attendance and motorists are advised to avoid the area at all costs," he said.
