A self-employed mother of three has bagged the Lotto Plus 2 jackpot of more than R11 million.
The woman won R11,066,503.80 in the Lotto Plus jackpot from the February 1, 2025 draw.
According to Ithuba, the winning ticket was purchased on a banking platform.
The winner spent R200 on a quick pick and told Ithuba that she played the Lotto once a week.
She said she was in "absolute disbelief" when the bank called her with news of her big win.
"It's a dream come true, and I still can't believe I've won."
The winner added that this windfall will undoubtedly bring about a significant change in her life.
An avid golf enthusiast, she plans to travel and explore the world, pursuing her passion for the sport.
Furthermore, she intends to give back to her community by donating a portion of her winnings to charitable causes, while also investing wisely to secure her family's future.
When asked about her winning experience, she said, "I'm still on cloud nine. I told my husband first, and we're both still trying to process this incredible news."
She said she would continue playing Lotto because "you never know when the next big win will come."
In congratulating the winner Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza said: "We are thrilled to have played a part in making this winner's dreams a reality and we wish her and her loved ones all the best for the future."
