After 134 attempts trying to hit a hole-in-one over his house, United States golfer Bryson DeChambeau finally managed to complete the viral challenge.

DeChambeau has had the golfing world gripped over the last two weeks attempting to hit the ultimate golf shot over the top of his Dallas mansion to his putting green at the back. So much so that many golfers have tried it themselves.

For the average weekend hacker, though, it would be a nervy experience, as DeChambeau’s has a massive glass feature at the front of his house, which is definitely in play for a high-handicapper. One of their attempts would have definitely have been sculled through the front window

But such is the difference between the average golfer and DeChambeau that the two-time major winner confidently took on the challenge.

Following a few near misses, DeChambeau finally drained one, after hitting one shot for each day of the challenge. On day 16, he had 16 shots and he ended up doing it with his 14th attempt of the day.

The LIV Golf star then ran around the house to celebrate, looking more relieved than anything after getting frustrated with a couple of near misses in the week leading up to the eventual hole-in-one.

DeChambeau won his second US Open this year after a gripping duel with Rory McIlroy, draining an incredible 30-yard bunker shot to beat the Northern Ireland golfer.

DeChambeau, who is a poster boy for LIV Golf and the captain of Crushers GC, also made the news earlier this year after Donald Trump won the elections in the United States.

Trump, who featured on the golfer's podcast while playing a round with the US star before the election, invited DeChambeau up onto the stage during his victory speech.
