JOHANNESBURG – SuperSport United’s march to the final of the MTN8 competition was pretty impressive as Matsatsantsa a Pitori overcame a Kaizer Chiefs side which had the away-goals advantage from the first leg.
With Amakhosi having scored twice at Lucas Moripe Stadium, the pressure was on Kaitano Tembo’s team, but they went to the FNB Stadium and got a 1-0 win which sees them in line to defend their title against a Cape Town City side they beat in the final last season.
Matsatsantsa have four players in or team of the week, with Bradley Grobler leading the way once again following his winner at Chiefs.

Goalkeeper Ronwen Williams was in fine form, although he had great protection from Man-of-the-Match winner Clayton Daniels, and Aubrey Modiba makes it too.
Khama Billiat may have been on the losing side but he makes our team on the strength of his showing midweek against Bloemfontein Celtic.
Thami Mkhize was impressive for City against Sundowns for whom Themba Zwane starred in the 1-0 win that proved hollow as they lost in the shoot-out.
Sinethemba Jantjie was colossal in the midweek draw with City while the Wits duo of Thulani Hlatshwayo and Gift Motupa get the nod for their performances in the 3-0 defeat of AmaZulu on Wednesday.
