Hollywoodbets Durban July is in full swing.
The weather is playing its part at the 2024 Hollywoodbets Durban July, and so are race-day-goers, fashionistas and everyone who has come to have a great time at the Greyville racecourse.
Although crowded, this year has fewer people and marquees than previous years.
Some returning marquees include the popular Afrotainment, where iconic Durban music producer DJ Tira is hosting an impressive 400 guests today.
Another notable marquee is the Durban Tourism marquee, hosting several dignitaries and celebrities nationwide.
Celebrities are also making a splash this year with their designer couture that go perfectly with the Ride The Wave theme of this year's event.
Spotted among others were Durban's very own, DJ Tira, musician, Loyiso, "Blood & Water" actor Dillon Windvogel and "Soon Comes Night" actor Kwenzo Ngcobo
Also at the event was Cape Town-based drag queen Manila von Teez, who was attending for the first time.
As always, fashionistas took our breaths away in between the horse races.
Showcasing designers bought their A-game, notably, South African designer, Imprint ZA, who captivated the public with six exclusive garments, which were worn by popular SA personalities.
As for the party-goers, the day is still young, there are plenty of DJs, musicians and entertainers lined up in every marquee and the public viewing area, waiting to perform.
Party-goers can expect to see multi-award winner K.O perform at the main stage.
Overall, Durbanites and visitors were here to have a good time and even when the sun sets, there is plenty of fun to be had in the city.
