The stage is set, and the excitement is building as the Red Bull Dance Your Style national finals arrive in Gqeberha for the first time. On Saturday, September 7, the Friendly City will witness South Africa’s top 16 street dancers battle it out in a thrilling, high-energy showdown that promises to captivate and inspire the dance community. The best thing, is that you, the audience, get to decide the winner. Tickets are R50.

A country-wide series:

This year’s Red Bull Dance Your Style competition has been fierce, with dancers from across the country showcasing their moves and battling for a spot in the finals at five regional qualifying events.

The top 16 dancers who qualified will each bring their own flavour and style to Gqeberha and will go head-to-head in a one-on-one battle format, with the audience having the final say on who will be crowned the national champion. The following will battle it out for the top spot:

From Mzansi to the world:

The national champion will go on to represent South Africa at the world final in Mumbai in November. After previous World Finals in cities across the globe, Mumbai will host the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final 2024 on November 9. The first Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final took place Paris in 2019, followed by an online edition in 2020, Johannesburg in 2022 and Frankfurt in 2023.

The Red Bull Dance Your Style format is unlike any other dance competition, with the crowd’s reaction deciding the winner. This dynamic and unpredictable format creates an electric atmosphere where anything can happen and every move counts.
