These are the teenagers from around Soweto who will be competing for the Miss Teen Soweto title at the weekend, with the prettiest and smartest of them all walking away with the grand prize of R10 000 and other prizes.
One of the organisers, Jonathan Ramotsei, said the beauty pageant is aimed at “giving these rough diamonds the experience of being groomed and moulded into radiant future leaders”.
Miss Teen Soweto will be crowned at the Soweto Festival Expo in Nasrec on Saturday.
