Early this week CR7 launched his YouTube channel "UR Christiano" bringing us personally into his life. Within 90 minutes of launching the channel became the fastest to reach one million subscribers in just ninety minutes after its start, breaking a record.
In recognition of this accomplishment, YouTube has acknowledged Ronaldo by sending him the gold play button plaque which is awarded to those who reach one million subscribers.
CR7 so far has uploaded 19 videos on the channel, with his first guest being his partner Georgina Rodriguez, Ronaldo shared on Instagram a video of his children playing with the gold plaque, “A present for my family Thank you to all the SIUUUbscribers!”
Before the launch of the channel Ronaldo announced to Instagram “The wait is over. My @YouTube channel is finally here! SIUUUbscribe and join me on this new journey.” This created anticipation amongst his fans, hence the rapid subscribing. Currently, the channel has 30.7 million subscribers.
The 39-year-old Portuguese international's success on YouTube is not surprising given his massive global fanbase, which spans across multiple social media platforms. His presence on YouTube offers fans an intimate glimpse into his daily life, training routines, and behind-the-scenes moments. This milestone further solidifies his status as a global legend, not only in the world of sports but also in the digital space. The channel continues to grow rapidly, with millions of fans eagerly awaiting each new upload, making "UR Christiano" one of the most talked-about channels on the platform.
