Social media users on X have expressed sorrow for a woman who lost both her children in the Vaal crash when a school minibus collided with a truck, killing 13 learners on January 19, while some users criticised the government.

@Brickszodala This is really painful, reminds me of a guy transporting kids at my place who will be drunk during the day taking them back from school overloaded. Parents/law officials not saying anything. The only thing ppl will say is: ”He is best at driving when drunk.”

@TsipaA This is as a result of corrupt ANC government. That reckless scholar transport driver wasn’t supposed to be transporting those kids. Only his father was licensed to transport the kids.
