Cape Town recently hosted a dazzling celebration of female excellence, as the Panache Women of Wonder (WOW) Awards honoured South Africa’s beloved icons, including philanthropist Rachel Kolisi and world-renowned chef Siba Mtongana.
Both were presented with the prestigious Visionary Women of Wonder Award for their leadership and impact.
The honourees took to social media to share their milestone moments with fans.
Kolisi kept it sweet and humble, sharing a series of photos with the caption: "I won an award. 🥹 Thank you @womenofwonder_aw ♥️."
Mtongana reflected on the deeper meaning of the night, writing: "Situation right now… So honoured to have been awarded the Visionary Women of Wonder Award 2026 tonight in Cape Town. ✨🙏🏽A special thank you to Panache and the Women of Wonder Awards for this humbling recognition. These international awards recognise women who think boldly, lead with purpose, and use their lives to make a meaningful impact, women who inspire, empower, and create change."
"Congratulations to every remarkable woman recognised tonight across business, academia, medical fields, tech, media, the arts, community organisations and beyond. 🤍Because true success is not what we achieve, but what we make possible for others. Sibulela imisebenzi yezandla Zakhe! God moments! 🙌🏽."
Founded by Farzana Mayet, the awards have grown from a local initiative into a global phenomenon.
With ceremonies held in major hubs like Dubai, London, Mauritius and India, the platform serves as a beacon of recognition for women who are architects of societal change.
Whether in business, healthcare or the arts, the awards highlight those who don't just succeed, but build the nation along the way.
Their comments sections were flooded with love from fellow celebrities and fans.
Notably, media personality Jennifer Bala cheered them on with a warm "Congratulations! 🙌🏽🤎", while admirers praised Kolisi for her "Falling Forward" spirit.
"As you should know, my love ❤️. You are such an inspiration, but it's not new, so I'm not even surprised at all in the slightest 👏👏. Keep using the platform you've been given to inspire women all over the world. I've been clapping for you more than I've clapped for myself 🥹. We have to make the choice to fall forward on the daily 😒 but ☝🏽☝🏽☝🏽," @miss_angeljones commented.
