Multi‑award‑winning singer‑songwriter Nomfundo Moh has released her fourth album, “Farm Julia”, along with a new soul-stirring single, “Uzophumelela”.
The single “Uzophumelele” carries such a powerful message of hope and perseverance. Nomfundo Moh explained that the song was inspired by her own desire for self-assurance that life will get better. “I hope the song gives hope to listeners.”
On the album “Farm Julia”, Nomfundo Moh gets to share personal stories of her life that have occurred during her growth as an artist. Songs like “Graduate”, “Malume”, “Ngizwele”, and “Nezami” are evidence of that.
Nomfundo Moh’s music has always blended Afro-pop and soul, often carrying themes of faith, resilience, and love. As her sound continues to evolve, these themes have remained ever-present.
“In the previous years, I did touch on all these themes, but solely on a personal level. Now I am able to include my listeners when I write, which makes it easy for them to relate more to my music,” she says.
Her fans, called the MohFam, have been an important part of her journey, with them influencing some of her music.
“My MohFam has helped me write songs that are inclusive of other people as well, because I want to see them prosper- so the music is no longer about me alone, but them too.”
Nomfundo Moh will be performing at the River Jam Music Festival at the Emerald Resort and Casino in Vanderbijlpark on Sunday, April 12, 2026, alongside global icons like Karyn White and South African legends such as Mafikizolo.
“Sharing a stage with such icons means a lot to me; it inspires me to yearn to be the best version of myself so I can be called an icon too one day,” shared the musician.
Nomfundo Moh is looking forward to having fun with the audience and having beautiful singing-along moments at River Jam, and taking beautiful pictures
