From fangirling over him as a teenager to watching him perform live on one of the world’s biggest stages, Tyla’s admiration for Justin Bieber has come full circle - and a collaboration between the two may now feel within reach.

The South African-born pop sensation, whose real name is Tyla Laura Seethal, recently lived out a long-held dream when she attended Weekend 2 of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the United States.

Among the standout moments was watching Bieber headline, with Tyla seen soaking it all in and clearly enjoying every second.

She wasn’t alone. Tyla was spotted vibing alongside Swedish singer Zara Larsson, the pair sharing carefree festival moments that quickly made their way onto social media.

Bieber’s set didn’t disappoint. The global superstar surprised fans by bringing out special guests, including Grammy Award winner Billie Eilish.

The duo performed "One Less Lonely Girl" in a playful, stripped-back moment that saw Eilish join Bieber centre stage.

The two laughed and interacted throughout, adding a spontaneous charm to the performance.

Tyla’s presence at the show felt particularly full-circle. Long before she became a chart-topping artist, she was a self-confessed “Belieber”.

She has previously shared that the first concert she ever attended was Bieber’s show in South Africa - a formative moment that clearly left a lasting impression.

Her admiration hasn’t faded with fame. In past interviews, Tyla openly admitted to having had a crush on Bieber growing up, describing herself as a “hectic Belieber”.

In 2025, she doubled down on that admiration in an interview with "Variety", revealing that a collaboration with Bieber sits high on her wish list.

“Like I know I’m just a new artist, but I can hear him in our music style,” she said at the time - a statement that now feels more plausible than ever.

Their paths have already crossed. Following Coachella last year, Tyla met Bieber and his wife, Hailey, with a video of the encounter - including a warm hug - going viral online.

Meanwhile, Tyla continues to build momentum in her own right. She recently teamed up with Zara Larsson on the track “She Did It Again”, a release that sparked widespread conversation online thanks to its bold nod to Britney Spears.

As Tyla’s star continues to rise on the global stage, the idea of a collaboration with Bieber no longer feels like a distant dream.

If anything, it feels like a matter of timing - and fans are certainly ready for it.
