Some of Mzansi’s biggest stars will take to the stage at this festival, which is set to immerse music, art, and fashion in a celebration of South Africa.

It will also be structured into four thematic segments, which will each blend specific musical genres. The first stage is “Fusion 1: Rewind the Revolution (Nostalgic journey from 1994 to now)”, where Zöe Modiga, Mafikizolo, Kurt Darren and Claire Johnston will perform.

On the second stage, “Fusion 2: Hip Hop Most High (Spiritual hip-hop experience)”, Blxckie, Maglera Doe Boy and the Tshwane Gospel Choir are on the line-up, while “Fusion 3: Femme For All (Powerhouse female-led performances)” will see Nomfundo Moh, Karen Zoid, Naledi Aphiwe and Mariechan performing.

On the fourth stage, titled “ About Now (Contemporary Amapiano and youth culture)”, fans can expect electrifying performances from Zee Nxumalo, Focalistic, Daliwonga and Khuzani.

The event will also integrate visual artists and designers who have collaborated on the stage's creative landscape.

There will also be a fashion show which features finalists mentored by Thula Sindi, including Sinekamva Xali, Andile Cele, Tukisho Machina, Zeshaan Samodien, and Refilwe Motsekedi.

KUNYE

DJ Shimza’s epic music festival returns to Joburg this weekend, where the likes of Turkey’s Mahmut Orhan, Arodes from Spain, and Jamiie from Germany will be part of the line-up.

The local acts include Sun-El Musician, An.D, Mpho.Wav, The Darque Experience, DWSON, Baby Whitz and Judy Jay.

One of the event’s highlights will be Shimza rocking the decks in a celebration of Afro-house and electronic music.

Conrad Koch presents 'Puppet Power'

Renowned comedian Conrad Koch and his outspoken puppet Chester Missing are bringing their  “Puppet Power” comedy show to Sandton, where attendees can expect rib-tickling jokes as well as audience interaction and light social commentary with a monster ending where Koch will turn someone into a terrifyingly funny talking dinosaur.
