For reality TV star-turned-musician Londie London, music has always been more than just melodies and lyrics. Music has always represented healing, a form of expression, and a way to reconnect with oneself.

After stepping back from the spotlight to embrace motherhood and recover from life’s harsh realities, Londie recreated a new, fresh chapter of her personal life. She made a bold return with a sound that feels both familiar and fresh.

Her comeback single, Izandla, reintroduced her after her hiatus.

The star isn’t stopping, with her latest collaboration with award-winning producer Prince Benza on two new singles, Ngiyabonga Nkosi and Ngizwile, both of which mark an important moment in her journey. Both songs carry her signature, soul-stirring vocals but also reflect growth, vulnerability, and a renewed sense of purpose.

“I wanted to create music that speaks to where I am now. Life transforms you, motherhood transforms you, and I wanted that to be reflected in the tone of my voice. These songs are me, honest and unfiltered,” she says.

The track Ngiyabonga Nkosi is a deeply moving anthem of gratitude, one that Londie connects with on a spiritual level. Her delivery on the song is raw yet uplifting, weaving a story of resilience and the beauty of life’s blessings. “Gratitude has been such a big part of my journey — thanking God even in hard times. Singing this song felt like a prayer,” she explains.

On the other hand, Ngizwile takes on a more introspective approach—speaking of self-awareness, growth, and the lessons that come with life’s challenges. Something Londie London knows all too well.

The emotional honesty of the lyrics, coupled with her layered vocals, gives the listeners a glimpse into the heart of an artist rediscovering herself.

“It’s about acknowledging your feelings, no matter how uncomfortable they are, and finding power in that,” said the entrepreneur.

The collaboration with Prince Benza also represents a new step in his artistry. Benza is known for his Bolohouse roots and now embraces the rising 3-step genre, bringing an energy that challenged and inspired Londie in the studio.

“Working with Benza was exciting — he knew exactly how to bring out my voice in a way that felt new but still true to me,” she says.

For Benza, the partnership was equally fulfilling. “Stepping outside of my comfort zone is what drove this project. Londie brought emotion and soul that really shaped the songs,” he adds.

As a new mom, Londie admits that balancing music and personal life has not always been easy. But this project reminded her of the importance of holding onto her passions. “Music makes me feel like myself again. It’s my way of remembering who I am beyond the titles of mom or influencer. I needed that reminder,” she says softly.

Her return to music, something Londie London had already ventured into years prior, isn’t just about reclaiming a space in the industry but about embracing every layer of who she is today. Londie London’s voice is wrapped in gratitude and strength, and she is, once again, ready to take listeners on a journey.

“These songs are the beginning of a new chapter for me,” she says. “I hope people hear themselves in my story.”
