Ice cream sandwiches are usually made with your favourite ice cream sandwiched between two cookies.

However, this content creator has shared his version of an ice cream sandwich, using only plain white bread and ice cream.

TikToker Everbodyloveschris shows viewers exactly how he makes this sweet treat.

He uses two simple ingredients - ordinary white bread and triple caramel ice cream.

In the video that has garnered over 370,000 views, his first step is to place four slices of bread in the microwave for 15 seconds.

After microwaving the bread, he puts the ice cream on half of each slice of bread.

Then folds over each slice of bread to make this unusual sandwich.

While it’s clear that he thoroughly enjoys his ice cream sandwich recipe, not many viewers love the idea, while others offered advice on how to improve the combo.

“Try toasting white bread, with ice cream and Nutella. Ohh you’ll never go wrong,” suggested one viewer. 

Another wrote: “Why do I feel like it would slap more with cool crispy toasted bread to give it that waffle effect.” 

Someone suggested he changes the type of bread saying: “Hear me out. Banana bread (heated for 30 sec) ft ice cream.” 

“I’m sure if the bread was toasted, it would’ve slapped,” agreed another.

While these people are open to his version of an ice cream sandwich others are not loving the idea.
