The rumours may be loud, but the countdown to 5 years is louder as Liesl Laurie-Mthombeni took to Instagram to announce that her marriage anniversary plans are underway.

It’s business as usual for former Miss SA Liesl Laurie-Mthombeni.
Amid recent cheating rumours involving her husband Dr Musa Mthombeni, Liesl has seemingly chosen not to entertain the rumour mill and focus on a milestone moment in their marriage.
Taking to Instagram, she shared that their 5th wedding anniversary is around the corner.
“Counting down to the 5 year wedding anniversary street bash. Question is, will the street bash be in Eldos or the Vaal?”
The cute post comes just days after rumours started circulating on X, alleging that Musa had cheated during a boys trip to Thailand in December 2025.
The claims stemmed from a gossip post that shared a screenshot of a DM from an anonymous source.
The message alleged that he had been involved with a “mysterious woman” during the trip, with some posts even referencing an alleged sighting in Phuket.
From there, the speculation picked up, with some online users questioning their absence as a couple who usually posts cute content that inspires the thought of marriage to those interested.
Like the loving and charismatic husband he is, Musa made sure to shut it all down with a series of posts on X.
“Aowa Bathong. Mina futhi! What fresh lie is it today?” he wrote.
He also took aim at engagement-driven accounts, adding: “Saphela Nkosi yam. Every time I see something controversial on the timeline, I check for a blue tick. Once I see it, I know it’s hunger tweeting.”
He did not stop there.
“One day le ‘ALLEGEDLY’ yenu is gonna to end in ‘PUNITIVE COSTS,’” he warned.
“If you hear anything about me that isn’t about me loving my baby girl, school, career, family or generally enjoying life, it’s a lie!”
The lovebirds who got engaged in June 2021, and tied the knot in August 2021, have since been giving their followers a glimpse into their happy marriage with their social media activity.
Musa, who is also known for his banter, has previously shared monthly celebrations of their love, calling them “monthversary”.
They have since been travelling the world together, celebrating their love for one another in different destinations such as Greece, Germany and the United States, to list a few.
