Crawford International proudly celebrates the achievements of the Class of 2025 in the Independent Examination Board (IEB) National Senior Certificate examinations. These outstanding results reflect not only academic rigour, but a learning culture designed to nurture confident, capable and future-ready global leaders.
In 2025, Crawford International students collectively achieved an impressive 1,428 distinctions across the group, reflecting both the academic depth of the cohort and the consistency of excellence across campuses. A total of 21 students attained overall averages of 90% and above, placing them among the highest-performing students nationally, while a further 126 students achieved averages between 80% and 89%, underscoring the strength of the broader academic profile. These results were not driven by a small number of outliers alone, they represent a cohort marked by sustained high performance, with multiple students achieving eight, nine, ten and even eleven distinctions and strong academic representation evident across all Crawford International schools.
The group’s top academic performers include include Manzil Harikaran-Giandev (La Lucia) with 11 distinctions and a full score of 100% in Engineering Graphics Design, Sashen Ramlal (Lonehill) with 10 distinctions, Shweta Singh (Lonehill), Dristhi Ramsumer (North Coast) and Celia Wentzel (Sandton) each achieving nine distinctions, followed by Sanjana Rajkaran (La Lucia), Tayur Lushen Moodley (North Coast), Talia Govender (Pretoria), Keith Makadzange (Pretoria), Justin Sher (Sandton) and Mthokozisi Buthelezi (Sandton), each earning eight distinctions. These students represent the highest individual academic achievements across the group and reflect exceptional consistency, discipline and academic depth across multiple campuses.
Adding to these accomplishments, seven IEB Commendable Achievement Awards were secured by students ranked in the top 5% nationally across five or more subjects, with scores of 80% or higher in Life Orientation. These awards were achieved by Kiara Faydhérbe de Maudave, Shannon Spitsbaard and Lauren Jane Taman from Crawford College Lonehill, Nirandhan Naidoo from Crawford College North Coast, Anya Zara Oommen and Shayda May Yeganeh from Crawford International Pretoria, Celia Falconer Wentzel from Crawford College Sandton
Additionally, Crawford International secured eight IEB Outstanding Achievement Awards, recognising students ranked in the top 5% nationally across six or more subjects, with scores of 80% or higher in Life Orientation. These awards were earned by Manzil Harikaran-Giandev (La Lucia), Sanjana Rajkaran (La Lucia), Shweta Singh (Lonehill), Sashen Umang Ramlal (Lonehill), Dristhi Ramsumer (North Coast), Tayur Lushen Moodley (North Coast), Talia Govender (Pretoria) and Justin Levi Sher (Sandton).
