In what would seem like a Netflix drama special, the Zulu Royal house has warned against a female intruder who was pretending to be a member of the royal family and allegedly extorted funds from members of the public wanting to meet King Misuzulu kaZwelithini.

A woman called Sihle Sibisi has allegedly been soliciting funds from members of the public in exchange for a meeting and photo opportunity with the Zulu king.

Sibisi even sat in a meeting with the king.

The Royal family said they were concerned with the king’s safely and even more concerned about how Sibisi passed through the usually tight security of the king’s palace.

Royal family spokesperson Prince Thulani Zulu told The Star that the royal family had been informed of an intruder pretending to be a member of the royal family and started investigating.

“We are concerned about how she came into the palace and how she passed security. This has put the king at risk. We are still looking into this deeply. We don’t know her and still don’t know exactly why she was there. This is intentionally criminal.”

Sibisi, who appeared in an exposé on DStv’s Moja Love where she exposed unethical pastors, also runs a movement called Kwanele Foundation, a google search reveals.

Her social media profile is littered with daily “motivational” videos and even pictures of herself with prominent personalities including King Misuzulu and Social Development Minister Lindiwe Zulu.

Sibisi has not responded to The Star’s questions on email or WhatsApp.
