Ten residents of Pooke se Bos received their title deeds from mayoral committee member for human settlements Carl Pophaim on Monday May 6.
The City had delivered more than 1000 title deeds to beneficiaries across the metro as part of its Festive Deeds challenge, he said.
“Our teams are back on the ground and we are reaching out to residents who are eligible to receive their title deeds. We are bringing title deeds to your doorstep. From Hanover Park to Woodlands to Pooke se Bos, and many other areas, we are making it our mission to provide dignity through homeownership.
“The Pooke se Bos infill housing project is one of our very special City projects as it benefits residents from the neighbouring informal settlement.”
