The City’s Water and Waste Directorate will be doing planned work in Simon’s Town, Glencairn, and Fish Hoek from tomorrow, Wednesday October 9, until Thursday October 10.The water supply from Bierman Reservoir to Simon’s Town will be shut off from 9am until 6pm on Wednesday October 9.This will enable the maintenance team to replace a defective valve on the main water supply from the reservoir into the local water supply network as well as fire hydrants in the area.The water supply to Berg Road and Pass Road in Fish Hoek and Reids Way in Glencairn as well as the immediate surrounding areas will be shut off from 9am until 5pm on Thursday October 10. This will enable the maintenance team to replace fire hydrants on the water supply pipelines in the areas.
