In 2025, Kamal CISCO focused on celebrating its staff and fostering a strong sense of community within the workplace. The company combined recognition, team activities and engagement initiatives to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
Kamal CISCO supported local sporting talent when Kwezi, the company’s sole sponsored marathon runner, secured third place at the Winelands Marathon in Stellenbosch in November 2025. Kwezi, a member of his local running club, competes in various marathons and half-marathons across the region, with Kamal CISCO sponsoring some of his race fees, supplements and running gear.
On Women’s Day, HR Manager Dyan Lee hosted a special gathering for all female employees. The event featured a talk on the significance of women’s contributions and included hand treatments for relaxation, reflecting Kamal CISCO’s commitment to recognising and uplifting its female staff.
As Halloween approached in October, the Accounts department led a lively dress-up day. Staff participated enthusiastically, exchanging themed treats and embracing the festive spirit, demonstrating the company’s culture of fun and camaraderie.
October also saw the introduction of Kabir Gagan, the new Director and son of the Chairman, to the admin staff. Welcomed warmly, Kabir brought a fresh perspective and youthful energy to management, generating excitement about the company’s future direction.
In November, staff collectively decorated the reception area for the festive season. Twinkling lights, holiday music and shared effort created a vibrant and welcoming environment, highlighting the strong team spirit at Kamal CISCO.
Sport enthusiasts at the company engaged in a “Guess the Score” competition via an internal WhatsApp group during major rugby matches. The friendly challenge and reward of snacks promoted light-hearted interaction and strengthened social bonds among employees.
The green space in front of the Kamal CISCO admin building serves as a peaceful sanctuary for staff and wildlife. A hidden pond supports a gaggle of geese as well as families of guinea fowl, and the surrounding trees provide shade and nesting opportunities, allowing nature to thrive within the corporate environment.
Throughout 2025, Kamal CISCO reinforced its commitment to staff and community through a range of events and initiatives. The company’s activities fostered a culture of teamwork, recognition and connection across the organisation.
