President Donald Trump is the first president in history to be in the news every day with a new objective he hopes to accomplish, says the writer.

I was aware that President Donald Trump would expand his authority outside of the United States when he won the presidency for the second time in January 2025, but I was unaware of the extent to which he could spread fear throughout the world by combining threats of military assault with tariffs, his only significant weapon.
Second, he is the first president in history to be in the news every day with a new objective he hopes to accomplish. This is what we refer to as assertiveness, a crucial trait in a leader that entails vision, decisiveness, and determination.
I commend him and his keen intuition. There was a petition circulating that claimed to remind Elon Musk that he was an undesirable immigrant in the United States and should return to his birthplace.
When it became evident that Musk would be very welcome in South Africa with all the potential economic growth he might bring to his birth country, South Africa was swiftly abandoned.
Elon Musk's forced emigration to South Africa was abruptly prevented by rivalry and competition that Musk was unwilling to risk, depriving us of the chance to determine who was better between Musk and Trump.
It would have been fascinating, but Trump decided it would be better to change his mind—that's how a leader with quick thinking acts. I'd like to congratulate President Donald Trump on saving America.
