Londie London speaks out on her emotional journey following her fallout with Minnie Ntuli, reflecting on strength, resilience, and the overwhelming support she has received since the season of The Real Housewives of Durban.
Londie expressed feelings of humiliation and shared her disappointment over the lack of a proper public apology from Minnie after their contentious confrontation that caught the attention of many viewers.
“Returning to the show was such a fulfilling experience despite a few challenges along the way, but the positives far outweighed the negatives,” she reflected.
When asked about her feelings revisiting the conflict, she remarked, “It was definitely surreal seeing that scene again. But honestly, I was proud of how I handled myself. I didn’t allow myself to be baited into anything that doesn’t reflect who I am. I always carry myself with intention: I’m a mother, a daughter, and a businesswoman. So, maintaining my composure, even in a heated moment, was a big win for me.”
Londie also disclosed that since the fallout, Minnie has made efforts to reach out to her in search of reconciliation. “No but she did try to reach out via a text message apologising in private. This stands in stark contrast to the statement she issued. It is quite disappointing that I was humiliated in public, but I’m not getting a proper apology directed to me in public,” she said.
The season has been a revelation for Londie as it reminded her of her strength and resilience. “Life has thrown so much at me, but I always come out stronger. I’ve realised that I’m incredibly resilient and that I won’t be easily shaken by outside noise,” she explained.
Looking ahead, Londie confirmed her desire to continue her journey on the show, saying, “Absolutely. I’ve always loved being part of the show. It’s not just about the cameras; it’s about the real relationships I’ve built with some of the women. There's genuine history and love there, and I'd be open to continuing that journey.”
Discussing the support she has received amid the turmoil, she expressed gratitude to everyone threw their weight behind her. “My heart is so full. The amount of love and support I’ve received has been truly overwhelming, in the best way. I’m so grateful to every single person who’s stood by me and sent messages of encouragement. I’ve never experienced this kind of warmth before, and I don't take it for granted.”
