Crazy Destroyers have officially reached a career-defining milestone, taking home the title of 2025 Red Bull Mzansi Crew Battle Champions.
The high-energy showdown took over Constitution Hill on Sunday, December 7, where dancers from across the country delivered electrifying performances that kept the crowd roaring from start to finish.
The Pretoria-born duo, Sleek Nation, 24, and Tsebetsa Boy, 22, from Soshanguve and Mabopane, snatched the crown after a fierce, fan-favourite final against the powerhouse crew, True Skhanda Movers.
Despite being the smallest crew in the entire competition, the pair dominated the stage with sharp execution, powerful choreography, and undeniable chemistry that had the audience on their feet.
“Winning this means a lot to us,” they said.
The event wasn’t just a competition; it was a full cultural moment for them.
“We fought through crews that outnumbered us, but we stood tall. This is our first experience, and to walk away as champions is unbelievable.”
Top youth-culture hitmakers lit up the stage:
• Pabi Cooper brought soaring vocals and Amapiano energy.
• Phantom Steeze amped the crowd with his signature dance-rap fusion, and
• DJ Tshegu transformed Constitution Hill into a street-style festival.
Setting the pace on the decks were the Dube Twiinz, while the ever-charismatic Elly Majola kept the crowd buzzing as MC.
A heavyweight judging panel included Bontle Modiselle, Limpopo Boy, and Tom London, who scored crews on creativity, execution, style, and their connection with the crowd.
The national finals also brought together a talented mix of regional winners, online standouts, and wild card challengers. Finalists included:
