South Africans can expect another spell of cold to cool weather

South Africans can expect another spell of cold to cool weather with scattered showers on Thursday, according to the South African Weather Service (SAWS).
The weather service says cloudy and cold conditions will continue over parts of the country, particularly across the western interior, while showers and thundershowers remain possible in several regions.

Johannesburg: 19°C / 4°C
Cape Town: 19°C / 16°C
Durban: 25°C / 17°C
Bloemfontein: 20°C / 4°C
Polokwane: 20°C / 8°C
Upington: 26°C / 14°C
Gqeberha: 22°C / 17°C
East London: 25°C / 17°C
What to expect
Residents can expect cloudy and cold conditions over the western interior and partly cloudy and cool weather across much of the country. Central South Africa will see mostly isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers and light showers possible over eastern and north-eastern regions
Johannesburg and Bloemfontein are expected to experience particularly chilly mornings, both dropping to around 4°C, while Pretoria will start the day at 7°C.
While much of the country remains cool, warmer weather is expected along parts of the coast and in the far north with Durban and East London reaching a high of 25°C and Upington with 26°C.
Cape Town, meanwhile, will cool significantly compared to earlier in the week, with temperatures expected to remain around 19°C.
South Africa’s late-autumn weather pattern continues to bring a combination of cold mornings, cloudy skies and scattered showers, particularly across inland provinces. Coastal areas along the east remain milder and more humid.
