Missing Free State man Katleho Bodiba last heard from in call to wife
Katleho Bodiba's vehicle was found abandoned between Bronville and Virginia. The Welkom K9 and Bloemfontein Search and Rescue units have searched the area without success.

Bronville police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating 40-year-old Katleho Bodiba, who has been missing since Tuesday, 21 October 2025.
It is alleged that Bodiba last communicated telephonically with his wife on that day. No one has heard from him since. Preliminary investigations traced his white Volkswagen Polo, with the help of a tracking company, to an area between Bronville and Virginia. The vehicle was found locked and abandoned.
A search by the Welkom K9 unit and Bloemfontein Search and Rescue team yielded no results. The vehicle has been booked in by police for further investigation.
It is unknown what Bodiba was wearing at the time of his disappearance. Police investigations are ongoing.
