The police in Orkney are requesting community assistance in locating 37-year-old Ramokgoro Samuel Tladi, a Lesotho national and traditional healer, who has been missing since Thursday, 28 August 28, 2025.

He was last seen by his wife in Lesotho when he left for Orkney. After arriving in Orkney later that evening at about 6pm, he confirmed telephonically with his wife that he had arrived. However, he has not communicated with anyone since.

A search around Orkney has yielded no results and extensive investigations have followed all leads without success. At the time of his disappearance, Tladi was wearing a red t-shirt, brown trousers, Timberland sneakers and a red and grey blanket. He is brown in complexion, weighs about 120kg, is 1.7m tall, bald, with a black beard and moustache.

Police request anyone with information that can assist in tracing Tladi to contact Investigating Officer Captain Johan Pretorius on 082 374 1072 or the nearest police station. Tips can also be reported via SAPS Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or anonymously via the My SAPS App.
