A packed Galleria witnessed world-class boxing as ABP’s Sandton Mayhem gave rising and established fighters a platform to shine.

Sandton’s Galleria was alive with energy on Saturday evening as Aquila Boxing Promotions’ Sandton Mayhem brought world-class boxing to Gauteng. The sold-out crowd witnessed thrilling bouts, knockouts and technical displays from South Africa’s top boxing talent.
The event, led by ABP founder Kevin Lerena, showcased both established fighters and rising stars, giving them a platform to shine. Speaking after the event, Lerena said: “Sandton Mayhem was everything we envisioned - competitive, passionate and a powerful reminder that South African boxing belongs on the global stage. Every fighter left their mark tonight.”

Fight Highlights:
Simnikiwe Bongco opened the night with a first-round knockout over Siphelele Sindane in just 1 minute and 4 seconds.
Tshegofatso Matlala lost to Mxolisi Lahliwe but displayed determination and grit.
Liam Fox and Ntokozo Msibi ended in a majority draw after a hard-fought battle.
Luke Hendrikz and Sabelo Ndwandwe delivered the fight of the night, earning an additional R10 000 each for their performance.
Gary van Staden secured a hard-fought win over Ali Patsho Sambi of the DRC.
Leo Careri knocked out Jackson Kaptein 1 minute and 21 seconds into the fourth round.
Tiitestso Matikinca stopped Michael Davies in the second round, 57 seconds in.
Lindokuhle Khuzwayo captured the IBO All Africa Featherweight Title with a second-round knockout of Rilwan Lawal.
In the main event, Kaine “K9” Fourie faced Claudio Daneff of Argentina for the IBO Intercontinental Lightweight Title. Daneff won by knockout 2 minutes and 1 second into the second round.
