Johannesburg audiences are set for an evening of music, dance and festive fun as the city welcomes the start of the holiday season on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Hyde Park Corner Centre Court, Sandton.

Performances by Swing City, featuring Graeme Watkins and Nathan Ro, will offer a soulful mix of classic favourites, while the Soweto Gospel Choir will bring its signature South African energy to the stage. Mzansi Ballet will enchant viewers with scenes from The Nutcracker, Teddy Bear’s Picnic and The Bare Necessities from The Jungle Book.

Young attendees can look forward to Christmas Fairies distributing festive goodies, while a giant illuminated teddy bear installation provides interactive entertainment. In collaboration with the Teddy Bear Clinic, the event highlights community engagement and the joy of giving during the festive season. Toy Kingdom will also feature a Build-A-Bear activation, giving children a hands-on creative experience.

Adding a touch of sophistication, South Africa’s first Moët & Chandon Personalisation Pop-Up will open during the event, offering tastings of the French champagne brand.

The evening takes place at Hyde Park Corner Centre Court, starting at 5.30pm and is open to the public.
