Treverton names 2026 head prefects at matric prize-giving

Treverton College has announced its 2026 learner leaders, naming Luke Dahl as head boy and Sienna Marx as head girl. The new prefects formally accepted their leadership roles during a pledge-signing ceremony at the school.
The announcement formed part of Treverton’s annual Matric Prize Giving, which celebrated academic, sporting and character achievements across the school.

The 2025 Dux Award was shared by Pieter Kooy and Yvette Shepherd, while Paul Gumede received the Sportsperson of the Year award. The Hudson-Reed Memorial Award for Character Development went to Dale Thompson.
Guest speaker Mr Mokgatlhe delivered a moving address, and outgoing head girl Goa Pilane gave her final speech before the Class of 2025 bid farewell.
The school said it remains committed to the all-round development of its learners — nurturing their minds, bodies and faith through academics, sport and environmental engagement.
