Reuben Marsberg, 22, missing since November 26, last seen in Louis Trichardt before travelling to Polokwane for work.

A 1976 Toyota Land Cruiser belonging to missing diesel mechanic Reuben Marsberg (22) has been recovered abandoned and stripped in Polokwane, Limpopo. Marsberg, who moved from Howick in KwaZulu-Natal to Louis Trichardt for work, was last seen on Friday, November 26, 2025. Household items including a TV, PlayStation, Wi-Fi router, mattress nd blanket were also reported missing from his residence.

At the time of his disappearance, Marsberg was driving the Land Cruiser carrying a grey toolbox. The vehicle was later found in Polokwane with a small amount of blood inside. Police deployed specialised tracking dogs to search the surrounding area, but Marsberg has not yet been located.

Additionally, a boat and trailer belonging to Marsberg were stolen. The trailer has blue tyre rims, while the boat’s propeller is marked with red paint and fitted with a Yamaha outboard motor.
Authorities are urging anyone with information or who is approached to buy the stolen items to contact Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) on 086 1234 333.
