Witbank — A 29-year-old woman, Melissa Vice, appeared at the Witbank Magistrate’s Court this week on charges of murder following the disturbing discovery of her brother-in-law's body in the bushes near Doornpoort Sub-Station.
The grim incident has shocked the local community and raised numerous questions about the circumstances surrounding the death of Willie Visser, aged 25. Vice was known in the community as a devout Christian and church-going woman, actively involved in Victory Family Church.

The deceased was found on December 16, 2025, when a passer-by strolling along a dirt path from Bankenveld to Seekoeiwater plots stumbled upon the lifeless body.
