Media personality MaBlerh has been announced as the host of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa reunion, marking an international first for the globally successful franchise.

It is detailed that the Africa edition is the first Ultimate Girls Trip in the world to conclude with a reunion, positioning the continent at the forefront of the format’s evolution.

The two-part reunion will feature nine of Africa’s most ambitious, glamorous and iconic women and is expected to unpack the drama, confrontations and unresolved tensions that defined the season.

Renowned media personality Mthokozisi Cele fondly known as MaBlerh described the milestone as a defining moment not only for the franchise, but for African television on the global stage.

“It represents Africa taking the lead on a global stage. This season sets a new standard and proves that Africa can deliver premium, appointment-viewing television at the highest level.”

“The season is dramatic, intense and completely unfiltered. The emotions are real, the conflicts are real, and nothing feels manufactured. I have been glued to my screen every week watching the drama play out.”

As anticipation builds ahead of the reunion, viewers have demanded that lingering issues be addressed directly. MaBlerh has promised a no-holds-barred approach.

He expanded on his hosting style, saying he would not shy away from difficult conversations.

“Going into this reunion, I plan to address everything head on. Everyone will be held accountable and everything will be put on the table. My approach is not to avoid any topic or soften the truth.

With strong personalities making up the cast, MaBlerh said impartiality would be central to how the reunion is handled.

“I am a professional, and I have been curating conversations for years. I remain impartial by holding everyone to the same standard. There will be no favouritism, no special treatment and no protection from accountability.”

He acknowledged that some moments are likely to be uncomfortable but insisted they are necessary for honesty.

“Yes, and those moments are necessary. I host with no fear, and I believe uncomfortable conversations often lead to the most honest television.”

Hosting the reunion holds personal significance for MaBlerh, who described it as a major milestone in his career.

“It is a career-defining moment. Hosting the first Ultimate Girls Trip reunion in the world, on African soil, is something I am incredibly proud of.”

The reunion will be broadcast in two parts, premiering on Showmax on February 20 and 27, 2026, and on Mzansi Magic February 21 and 28.

The reunion will air in two parts later this month, bringing the season to a close and offering viewers the opportunity to see unresolved storylines reach their conclusion.
