Tshwane learners get a mid-term boost with new stationery

Learners at four primary schools in Tshwane have received a much-needed boost in the classroom, with back-to-school stationery packs handed out to help them catch up and stay on track for 2026.

Exercise books, pens, pencils, and crayons prepared for students’ classrooms.

Pupils at Meetseng, Sunvalley, Bodubelo, and Bud-Mbelle Primary Schools - covering grades 1 to 3 - were given exercise books, pens, pencils, crayons, rulers, and other essential supplies, easing financial pressure on families and supporting learning progress mid-term.

The initiative, facilitated by Time Square Casino on behalf of the North West Community Development Trust, ensured that more than 1 200 learners received packs tailored to their age and grade, helping them participate fully in lessons.

Smiles and excitement filled the classrooms as children collected their packs, showing how practical support can make a difference even after the school year has already started.
