During a court appearance in February, Pacula told the judge he fears for his life and indicated his intention to plead guilty to charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and contravening the Immigration Act.

Majola, arrested first, is accused of orchestrating the killing, while police allege that Pacula fired the fatal shots that ended the life of the popular radio and television host.
