Top Billing has officially lifted the veil on its presenters for the highly anticipated 2026 comeback, confirming a mix of familiar favourites and fresh faces set to lead the show into a new era.
The iconic lifestyle programme will premiere on Thursday, 30 April 2026 on S3, marking a return to the high-gloss, aspirational storytelling that defined a generation.
The new season blends nostalgia with modern appeal, bringing together established personalities and emerging cultural voices.
Among the returning names is long-time presenter Michael Mol, who became a household name during his years on the show. Former Miss South Africa 1994 and Miss World runner-up Basetsana Kumalo, one of the original Top Billing presenters nearly three decades ago, also returns to the line-up.
Jonathan Boynton-Lee, who won the Top Billing Presenter Search in 2012, rejoins alongside Dr Fez Mkhize, a fan favourite since the 2018 Presenter Search on 3. Actor and presenter Ryle De Morny, best known for his work on Expresso Morning Show, also forms part of the team.
The new season will also introduce a fresh group of presenters, including Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi, Miss South Africa 2023 runner-up Bryoni Govender, actor and presenter Arno Greeff, and Sine Mpulu, who joins as the show’s dedicated social media presenter.
“We are incredibly excited to bring Top Billing back with this dynamic mix of returning favourites and fresh new talent,” said Patience Stevens, Managing Director at Cardova Productions and Executive Producer of Top Billing.
“Each presenter brings their own unique energy and perspective. Together, they will continue Top Billing’s proud legacy of celebrating the very best of our country while delivering the aspirational, feel-good content viewers have missed and new audiences are eager to discover.”
Bradley van den Berg, Chief Operating Officer at Cardova Productions and Executive Producer of Top Billing, said the blend of presenters was deliberate. “Bringing together a mix of iconic Top Billing presenters and exciting new talent was a very intentional decision. This season is about honouring the legacy that audiences know and love, while evolving the show to reflect the energy, diversity and ambition of modern South Africa. Each presenter brings a unique perspective, and together they create a dynamic storytelling experience that feels both familiar and refreshingly new.”
Dichaba Phalatse, Marketing Manager for SABC Video Entertainment, said selecting the new presenters required careful consideration. “Selecting the new faces of Top Billing was not an easy process, and it’s a decision we approached with great care. It was important that the line-up reflects a progressive, curious South Africa, one that is open to new ideas, new perspectives, and new ways of being. This mix of talent honours the legacy of Top Billing while bringing a fresh, contemporary energy that aligns with S3’s vision, as we take the show into its next chapter.”
