Cape Town got more than rugby on Sunday. Before the Springbok Sevens stepped onto the field for their HSBC SVNS clash against Argentina, the youngest member of the Street Kings, Jamilio Singer, delivered a moment that had the entire stadium cheering.

In a video shared by Super Sport TV on TikTok, the little dancer, already a familiar face on TikTok thanks to his adorable dance moves and fearless personality, ran onto the field at Cape Town Stadium to present the match ball.

Dressed neatly and full of confidence, he broke into his own mini performance after handing the rugby ball over.

As he made his way off the pitch, he proudly lifted a green and gold Springbok jersey, sending the crowd into a frenzy. The roar inside the stadium said it all.

The Street Kings’ rise on social media has been nothing short of heart-warming. What started as four friends filming dance videos in Mitchell’s Plain grew into a heartfelt movement when they started teaching four-year-old Singer their dance moves.

They now have millions of followers who love their humour, creativity and the bond they share with the four-year-old who has become the heart of the group.

In many of their TikTok videos, he learns routines faster than the older ones, sometimes leading the choreography and stealing the show.

Fans see him as a source of joy, especially knowing the challenges the group faces at home. Poverty, limited opportunities and a lack of access to formal creative spaces have never stopped them.

Instead, they turned the streets into their stage and the world responded with love. TikTok comments often praise the young star, with people saying he improves every day and regularly outshines the older dancers.

The crowd may have come for a big game, but the little performer gave them a memory of their own. The Springbok Sevens went on to beat Argentina 21-19.

This was not the first time a young mascot showed off his Springbok pride. During the Australia versus New Zealand Sevens final in Dubai, another boy carrying the match ball also flashed a Springbok jersey as he dashed off the field.
